Turin Exhibition represents a unique example of structural concrete architecture, nationally and internationally known. This great architectural work was designed by the Italian designer Ettore Sottsass Sr in 1938 and it was later enlarged by the Italian designer and engineer Pier Luigi Nervi. Until 2001, Turin Exhibition has been used as exhibition hall and afterwards it was designated to hosted hockey competitions during the Winter Olympic games of 2006. This priceless public great building is now in danger because it exists in a state of semi-neglect and decay and it needs an intervention of restoration. The unique solution to cope with this emergency is represented by the master plan drawn up by the Town of Turin and by the Polytechnic of Turin with the aim to restore and renovate the whole complex of buildings in order to give it another time a central role in the urban landscape, avoiding it disappears undeservedly. This project is ambitious because it provides to take up the “Valentino Campus”, “The literature citadel” and “The Campus of Design and Architecture”, a multiple cultural centre, which will host documentation, education and conservation activities. However, it needs 98 million of euro to be realized and local institutions haven’t enough financial resources. Therefore, to overcome this emergency, is essential to find alternative sources of funding, not only by the involvement of institutions but also by means of the participation of a lot of individuals, that all together, collecting a lot of little donations, are able to achieve a significant sum to support the redevelopment project of a priceless architectonical work, and by means of it the whole Po route enhancement
